LYS was engaged by ECA2 as the main contractor and steel contractor, LYS were tasked with the removal of the existing structures and restoring the pier to accept the newly designed steel for the attraction renovation.
This included all preparation and site coordination works on and off shore. The "Wings of Time" is a nightly reoccurring entertainment show at Siloso beach Sentosa.
The show comprises of a scripted multi-cultural story line and incorporates significant audio visual, lighting, water screen, laser and pyrotechnic effects.
Effects are generated both on the pier itself and from the shore line where 3 control and projection rooms are located at the rear of the audience seating areas.
LYS were charged with the removal of existing structures and renovation works in conjunction with delivery by barge and barge crane coordination works to a fixed timeline.
Reuse of existing effects as well as inclusion of new effects and their specific M&E requirements.
Considerable design development works were conducted in order to achieve the desired show effects within a sea-shoreline environment, using appropriate materials and to successfully meet the owner's imposed deadlines.
