This new gate has been designed and manufactured by Cova Security Gates to meet the ongoing demand for securing underground car parks, specifically for when space directly behind the gate may be limited.

Our latest CSG model 10607 has the unique feature in that the motor to power the gates are contained with the posts which operates via an overhead track system. Therefore there is no need for a separate housing assembly.

It is the perfect solution to secure loading bays, multi-storey car parks and where there is limited or restricted access such as underground car parks or as an alternative to roller shutters.

This gate can be designed to span an opening 5m wide and 2.4m high.

The CSG 10607 Bi-Folding Overhead Gate consists of two drive posts, which house the motors, and onto each post a bi-folding leaf is attached by hinges. There is no requirement for a separate housing assembly.

A low profile overhead track is self supported by the gate posts which negates the need for additional structural fixings and ground tracks.

The bi-folding leaf utilises an overhead guide track so there is no requirement for ground guides or track.

The gate is designed to open inwards, however if requested, an outward opening variation could be implemented depending on a site risk assessment.

Gate leaf sections are fully welded assemblies, constructed of RHS steel section, although additional/alternative materials can be accommodated to suit - every gate we design and manufacture is bespoke to site conditions.

The CSG 10607 Overhead Car Park Gate can be programmed to operate as a pair or with independent leaf control depending on on-site preferences.

The drive/s are located within the posts and are controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) located within the associated control cabinet.

All gate systems come complete with a photocell and safety edges as standard.
